Providers and links

  • Each international provider and local portal is one data file in our repository, with the provider's public search URL format, the stay types it serves and notes on its partner programme and terms.
  • Search links are built from each provider's own public search URL with your city, dates and guests filled in. Formats were checked in a browser when added; city identifiers (for example for Agoda and Trip.com) were verified one by one.
  • Every link is tested daily. Links that stop working are hidden from results automatically until they recover (provider status).
  • We never copy listings, photos, prices or reviews from providers, and we do not accept or publish listings ourselves.

Ranking

"Best match" orders sites by how well they suit your type of stay (the stays each site serves and its usual minimum stay; local portals first for long-term rentals), an optional trip purpose, and then a fixed order. Commission and advertising are never inputs. "Popular with visitors" badges come from anonymous counts of clicks on our own site and never change the order.

Prices

We show a price only when it comes from a provider's official partner feed or API, labelled with the time it was checked. We don't estimate, average or invent prices, ratings or availability.

Country and city guides

  • Facts such as deposit rules, tenant rights, short-term rental rules, rent levels and visa schemes come from official sources (governments, statistics offices, regulators) or the provider's own pages, each linked with the date we checked it.
  • City introductions and neighbourhood notes are written by us from general, stable knowledge and reviewed periodically; each guide shows its last-reviewed date.
  • Photos come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences and are credited on each page and on the photo credits page.
